✈️ Air Package Day starts with a transfer to Quito Intl. Airport (UIO) for an early-morning 45 minute flight into Manta Intl. Airport (MEC). We'll start the morning as a true local with traditional breakfast on the markets near Murcielago beach, soon you'll be checking-in into your hotel, settle in and prepare for a full day tour of the modern port city of Manta. Get to know the city from its nearby beaches like Murcielago and Santa Marianita, modern housing projects, buildings and malls in modern neighborhoods like Umiña, to the more traditional original city markets, barrios and shipyards like 'Tarqui', 'Centro' and 'Playita Mia' where you will get to know the traditional seafood market and the shipyard of the city, a place where the naval stevedores build or repair boats, keeping a tradition alive; before returning to the hotel for a delicious local cuisine dinner and rest.

🚍 Land Package You will begin your journey to the Ecuadorian coast from Quito, the first stop will be at Kapari Lodge located in San Miguel de los Bancos for breakfast, then we will continue the journey through the Chocó Andino, located in the Northwest of the Andes, it has 285,000 hectares of unspoiled cloud forests, it preserves large numbers of emblematic flora and fauna species. In these forests you can find animals such as the spectacled bear, the chocó toucan, the rock rooster, among others. Later we we'll head to a famous almond candy store in Rocafuerte, a city famous for its sweet confections of unmistakable flavor: alfajores, bocaditos, rompope, among others. We'll thereafter head to the modern port city of Manta.
After arriving the city of Manta, you will have a tour to ¨Playita Mia¨ where you will get to know the traditional seafood market and the shipyard of the city, a place where the naval stevedores build or repair boats, keeping a tradition alive. Finally, you will arrive to the hotel for a delicious local cuisine dinner and rest.
On our second day after having breakfast, you will have a tour of the neighboring historic town of Montecristi,located at the foothills of the Montecristi hill, birthplace of the famous south american liberal revolutionary Eloy Alfaro it stands out for the manufacture the one and original Panama Hat (known by that name because they were sold by local traders in Panama City) made of toquilla straw, tagua, wicker and others. You will later adventure into the path ¨Pasaje del mono¨ It is a 1.5 kilometer trail inside Pacoche Animal Reserve that runs through the humid forest area, where you will immerse yourself in a world of colors, smells and species, where the exuberant vegetation and natural diversity will accompany your walk. This route of medium difficulty invites you to live new experiences, among howler monkeys and steps with rope passages.
Then we will leave Manta to go to the Machalilla National Park and walk to Los Frailes Beach, one of the most beautiful and preserved virgin beaches in Ecuador. You will have a lunch in the Agua Blanca community and a visit to its museum, to later go to the hotel and have dinner to end the day.
After breakfast, you will have a visit to the Dos Mangas community for a brief history that holds secrets related to the weaving of the toquilla straw hat. It offers spaces for adventure tourism, gastronomy and, in addition, its beautiful landscapes present a diversity of flora and fauna that captivates visitors. We will have a brief visit to the Valdivia Culture Museum that has more than 200 archaeological pieces on display that also belong to the Chorrera, Machalilla, Guangala and Manteño Huancavilca cultures. Then we will go to DeCameron spring in Punta Centinela, after lunch we will visit La Chocolatera located in Salinas, a new point for bird-tourism and nature lovers. It has a good infrastructure and different scenarios for bird watching. Upon returning to DeCameron he will have dinner and cultural show.
Have a nice breakfast and have a walking tour of Salinas and Chippie Beach, enjoy the gardens, villas and avenues of the city and perform activities such as volleyball, swimming, among others. Later you will visit the "Casa León" museum built in 1991 on the initiative of the Ecuadorian artist León Ricaurte. His goal was to build a house where he could exhibit his chosen works of art and show pieces through their practical uses throughout his life; in this museum we are going to find artistic and everyday objects from the different historical stages of Ecuador: pre-Hispanic, colonial and contemporary. In the afternoon you will return to the hotel and enjoy an afternoon of relaxation in the resort pool. In the evening after dinner you will have an artistic show to end the day.
After an early morning breakfast you will have a 2 hour ride to the city of Guayaquil, Ecuador's largest city and upon arrival you will have a guided tour where you will visit the most famous attractions such as the Malecón, Parque de las iguanas, barrio Las Peñas, Santa Ana hill, etc. Then you will depart from the Simón Bolívar port to the Santay Island; recently turned into an important tourist destination thanks to the diversity of flora and fauna, here you will learn about sustainable eco-tourism and you will have lunch in the Santay community before returning to Guayaquil and its nightlife and city life scene.
✈️ Air Package After breakfast we'll transfer to Guayaquil Intl. Airport (GYE) for a domestic flight to Quito Intl. Airport (UIO) and final transfer to the city of Quito.
🚍 Land Package After breakfast at the hotel, you will departure the city of Guayaquil and head back to Quito, an 8-hour ride, depending on the weather; you'll have a stop at "La Olla Criolla" and have lunch.
